Internship Project
Sunfuel Electric is a startup founded in 2020, encouraging people to shift from fossil fuel-powered vehicles to electric vehicles by enabling EV owners to charge their EVs anywhere in the country. During this internship my major task was to design a level 2 wall mounted EV charger for domestic use.

Motivation
Being an asthmatic I always understand the value of clean air, Combustions engines on the other hand do provide better power and quick refill but they are costly and make air unfit to breathe also the huge contribution of fossil Fuels in Global warming is a big concern. The main reason to choose an EV startup for an internship is my interest in their vision of creating an EV charging infrastructure for vehicles in India which will boost up the confidence of people to buy electric cars & create a seamless experience of vehicle charging which will eventually help in reducing pollution to a much greater extend & contribute to a
better future.
How Effective are EVs?
EVs are not a 100% green solution, though driving an EV does not produce any harmful gases but the manufacturing of batteries and the method used in the production of electricity (coal) has a large impact on the environment. According to carbonbrief.org (Graph) all in all over their lifetime, EVs are responsible for considerably lower emissions than conventional internal combustion engines.
